HamAlert is a tool that lets amateur radio operators receive real-time notifications when specific callsigns, modes, bands, or activity appear on major spotting networks such as the Reverse Beacon Network, PSK Reporter, SOTAwatch, and POTA. Instead of constantly watching the cluster, you set filters for what you care about—like a callsign, DXCC, SOTA/POTA reference, or mode—and HamAlert sends you a push notification, email, or API message when it shows up.

It’s especially handy for testing, activations, and digital mode operations. If you beacon on VarAC, JS8Call, FT8, or other modes, HamAlert can notify you (and others) when your signal is spotted. It’s available on desktop as well as mobile apps for both iOS and Android, making it easy to stay connected wherever you are. This is a great way to link up with stations who are monitoring, coordinate quick contacts, or confirm your signal is getting out during field work or portable ops.
